Salary: £90 – £120 per day (depending on experience)About the Role:
An inclusive SEN school in Milton Keynes is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). You will play a vital role in helping children overcome barriers to learning while promoting independence, wellbeing, and personal growth.Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with SLD in developing literacy, numeracy, and life skills
- Implement personalised learning plans and adapt materials where necessary
- Work with teachers, therapists, and support staff to provide consistent care
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage social interaction
- Support pupils with sensory and communication needs
- Assist with personal care as required
- Experience working with SLD or SEN pupils (advantageous)
- Calm, empathetic, and patient nature
- Understanding of EHCPs and SEN strategies
- Valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
- Supportive and passionate SEN team
