Job Role: Teaching AssistantLocation: WidnesSalary: £425 – £475 per week (dependent on experience)To apply, you must have proof of Right to Work in the UK.Connex Education are seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant who has experience of supporting young persons with Moderate and Severe Learning Needs.About the School:We are working with a SEND School in Widnes who cater for pupils who cater for secondary aged students. The School offers a child centered approach to learning, celebrating achievements and promoting independence.Assignment details:This role is full-time and commence ASAP. The hours are Monday-Friday 8.00am until 3.30pm. This role will require a Teaching Assistant to support pupils on a 1:1 basis across the School.Benefits of working for Connex Education:

Person specification:
  • Experience of supporting pupils with Autism
  • Be understanding and empathetic with the ability to help children self -regulate
  • Able to use different styles of communication as some pupils are non-verbal
  • Be able to contribute to observations
  • Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
