Your RoleAs a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you won’t be stuck at the back of the room. You’ll be embedded in the classroom, making a direct impact by:
  • Delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions, boosting student confidence.
  • Helping pupils crack tricky concepts and prepare for exams.
  • Supporting teachers with lesson planning, resourcing, and innovative teaching strategies.
  • Gaining hands-on classroom management experience — the best preparation for teacher training.

  • A recent Maths graduate (2:1 or above preferred) with ambition to teach.
  • Clear, confident communicator who can break down complex ideas.
  • Reflective, resilient, and ready to learn from outstanding practitioners.
  • Experience tutoring, mentoring, or supporting young people is a bonus.

  • £25,000 – £28,000 per annum (depending on experience).
