- HCPC Registered
- Advanced Practitioner in Medical Diagnostic Ultrasound with a post graduate qualification at Masters Level
- Significant experience in Ultrasound
- Previous managerial experience of a team of radiographers including management of staff rosters
- Experience in undertaking appraisals
- Evidence of involvement in service development or improvement projects
- Up to date CPD portfolio
- Understanding of Performance Management in Radiology
- Good knowledge and understanding of the Radiology Service architecture
- Aware of national and local issues impacting the healthcare arena
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Good understanding of team dynamics
- Ability to lead a team to deliver a high quality safe service
- Ability to make decisions and prioritise under pressure
- Understands when to use initiative and when to escalate
- Excellent IT skills
- Ability to communicate with all levels of staff and adapt approaches to meet needs of patients
- Demonstrate empathy and understanding
- Provide at all times a safe environment for all patients and staff alike
