
House Manager / Personal Assistant Job

- Manage day-to-day operations of the Radlett residence, including oversight of cleaners, gardeners, and service providers
- Provide hands-on lifestyle assistance: school runs, errands, diary and calendar management, booking appointments
- Manage vehicle servicing, MOTs, insurance schedules, and general upkeep
- Coordinate family logistics and support (including childcare schedules, food shopping, family calendar)
- Oversee packing and unpacking for business and leisure travel, ensuring all items are organised and accounted for
- Liaise with tailors, vendors, and external suppliers for clothing, personal items, and household needs
- Handle online orders, returns, and deliveries for the family and household
- Support planning and execution of private events or gatherings in the home or at other venues
- Assist with the expansion of property portfolio, particularly in the Cotswolds (site visits, liaising with estate agents, overseeing logistics)
- Organise private aircraft (helicopters and small planes) for both personal and business use: service coordination, prep, flight planning
- Ideally hold or be willing to obtain a private pilot’s license
- Oversee and maintain diving equipment and recreational gear
- Coordinate international travel (e.g., to Dubai)
- Provide admin support including invoice handling, correspondence, household budgets, and service bookings
- Anticipate needs and take initiative to alleviate pressure on the Principal
- Ensure discretion, loyalty, and proactive problem-solving in all areas of responsibility
- Help manage ad hoc projects and new ventures as the Principal's needs evolve
- Previous experience in a private household or UHNW environment in a Butler, House Manager, or PA role
- Confident managing multiple responsibilities and working independently
- High level of trustworthiness, loyalty, and confidentiality
- Strong logistical skills and ability to anticipate and resolve problems quickly
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail, especially for travel and event preparation
- Comfortable with tech tools and modern household systems
- Flexible mindset with willingness to travel when required (though not regularly)
- First aid trained or willing to complete training
- Full UK driving licence essential; ability to do airport runs (negotiable)
- Aviation or diving experience (or interest) a bonus

- Competitive gross annual salary of £80,000 - 100,000 + GPA (depending on experience)
- Personal use of private aircrafts (helicopter and small planes) permitted during free time, subject to scheduling and approval
- Personal use of vacation properties permitted during free time, subject to scheduling and approval
- To pursue or maintain a pilot’s license, with support from the Principal
- To pursue or maintain diving qualification, with support from the Principal
