Financial Controller

- Ownership of the month-end process, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Leading and coordinating the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors
- Conducting detailed financial analysis, variance reporting
- Overseeing and improving product costing and manufacturing cost controls
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Ensuring full compliance with internal controls and group reporting standards
- Leading continuous improvements in financial processes and SAP improvement projects
- Management of a small team
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager in a manufacturing environment
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Proficiency in cost accounting and manufacturing finance processes
- Excellent SAP skills
- Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, site role
- A competitive salary in the range of £60,000 - £70,000
- A fixed-term contract of 12 months with potential for further opportunities.
