London (East/North) | Occasional travel to the Head Office in HertfordshireAre you an experienced Document Controller who enjoys the detail and structure of document management and quality assurance, without the pressure of technical delivery? We're working with a growing contractor who's looking to hire a Document Controller to support a couple of live projects in London.This is a hands-on role where you'll have ownership from day one-ideal for someone confident, self-sufficient and capable of building systems and processes without needing micromanagement.Key Responsibilities:Manage project documentation, drawing registers, and QA recordsCollate and issue drawing packsMaintain trackers and coordinate document flow between site and office teamsUpload and manage certificates and essential documentationLiaise with site teams to gather required details-particularly around warrantiesEnsure documents are filed and shared correctly across platformsYour experience and background:Proven experience in a similar Document Controller or QA Administrator roleConfident and assertive communicator, especially when gathering information from siteSomeone comfortable working mostly from site, but flexible with occasional WFHOrganised, methodical, and happy to work independentlyAdditional Info:Based across one or two London sites (East/North) with occasional travel to Hertford (travel expenses to site covered)ASAP start preferredBenefits:Autonomy in the role - Take the lead!Small, close knit teamStrong Pipeline of WorkOpportunity to work acrossIf you enjoy keeping projects organised, compliant and running smoothly-without being micromanaged-this could be the ideal next step.For more details, get in touch - Vekshana at Aldwych ConsultingAldwych Consulting values diversity and promotes equality.
