We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Nursery Assistants to work across nurseries and primary schools on a supply basis from September 2025.About the Role:
As a Supply Nursery Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting the care and development of children aged 0-5, as well as assisting in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) settings within schools. You'll be stepping into different environments, so adaptability and a positive attitude are essential.Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting children's learning and development through play and planned activities
- Assisting with daily routines including meals, toileting, and outdoor play
- Ensuring a safe, secure, and stimulating environment
- Following safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times
- Working collaboratively with permanent staff in each setting
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
- A caring, patient, and flexible approach
- Ability to travel to various locations in and around Goole
- Level 2 or 3 Childcare qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Flexible working to suit your availability
