We are seeking an experienced Fit-Out Construction Estimator with a strong background in Drylining projects to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates, supporting tender submissions, and ensuring competitive, profitable project delivery. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility to work from home, but with regular travel required to our Reading office and project sites in and around London.Key Responsibilities:Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for fit-out projects, with a focus on drylining packages.Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare material, labour, and subcontractor costings.Source, negotiate, and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations.Work closely with project managers, quantity surveyors, and the wider commercial team to ensure estimates align with project requirements.Contribute to tender submissions, value engineering, and risk analysis.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry pricing, supply chain trends, and construction techniques.Attend site visits across London and surrounding areas as required.Skills & Experience Required:Proven experience as an Estimator within the fit-out sector, with strong drylining project knowledge.Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office (Excel in particular).Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to projects and offices.What We Offer:Competitive salary of £60,000 – £70,000, depending on experience.Hybrid working (split between home, Reading office, and project sites).Opportunity to work on high-profile fit-out projects in London and the South East.Supportive and collaborative working environment with career progression opportunities.
