Type: PermanentOur market leading client is seeking a proactive Estimator to join the team at their offices in Reading. You will ideally come from a construction management or engineering background and have experiencewith delivering complex sales quotes effectively and efficiently.Estimator Benefits:

- Responsible for calculating accurately the costing’s of projects to enable the sales team to win and deliver projects on time and within budget
- Checking schedules of rates and approximating build costs
- Attend pre- budget meetings and site visits with setting costs
- Responsible for coordinating with the sales team on any new and upcoming projects
- Reporting any concerns that may impact projected costs and time estimates
- Oversee hand over from bid to execution with other teams and stakeholders within the business
- Provide and manage all relevant documentation including quotes, presentations and data
- Degree or sufficient experience in construction, civil engineering estimating
- Commercial awareness and good eye for detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good communication and negotiating skills
- Flexibility to accept and manage change
- Experience in commercial building projects and knowledge of construction methods and technologies
- Full UK Driving license
