Senior Associate - Projects, Infrastructure & Construction (Future Energy) Location: Bristol PQE: 5+ yearsA leading national law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its expanding Projects, Infrastructure & Construction (PIC) team in Bristol. This opportunity is ideal for a construction lawyer with experience in the renewable energy sector, looking to step into a key role within a high-performing, forward-thinking practice. The TeamThe PIC team advises across a broad range of sectors including infrastructure, utilities, real estate development, and energy. It is nationally ranked in both Legal 500 and Chambers, with a reputation for working on complex, high-profile projects. Much of the team's work intersects with the firm's Future Energy group - a market-leading clean energy practice. The firm has been recognised globally for its activity in energy M&A and is consistently involved in many of theUK's most significant renewable transactions. Clients include developers, funders, investors, and buyers/sellers of major energy projects. The RoleAs a Senior Associate, you will:Lead on complex non-contentious construction matters in the future energy sector, with Partner support where appropriateManage and deepen key client relationshipsSupervise and mentor Associates, Trainees, and ParalegalsContribute to strategic planning and business development activity in the Bristol market and nationallyPlay a leading role in tenders and client pitchesHelp drive the continued development of the team's renewable energy offeringSkills and ExperienceThe ideal candidate will:Be a qualified solicitor (SRA or equivalent) with at least 5 years' post-qualification experienceHave strong experience in non-contentious construction and/or projects work, ideally with a renewable energy or infrastructure focusBe confident working with industry-standard contracts, such as NEC and JCTHave excellent technical, drafting and communication skillsBe commercially minded and capable of operating autonomouslyDemonstrate experience in mentoring or supervising junior team membersShow the ambition and leadership qualities needed to help shape the Bristol offeringWhy Join?This is a standout opportunity to join a nationally recognised practice at a formative stage of its Bristol growth.
