The post holder will work as part of the managerial and operational triumvirate for the three community hospitals, working closely with the Matron (Education) and Deputy General Manager.The post holder will work across three community hospitals providing clinical practice and leadership and ensuring the provision of high quality and safe care.Main duties of the job
  • Provide professional and managerial leadership for the Integrated Care Division Community Hospitals, delivering a highly visible and influential presence ensuring the provision of high quality and responsive services with the needs of the patient at the centre of care delivery.
  • Work in partnership with the General manager and the Divisional Managers to ensure the effective and efficient management of the Integrated Care Division to deliver key targets within resources available.
  • Work in partnership with the Matron (Education lead) ensuring the development of nurses and nursing practice.
  • Be a key leader in service improvement programmes and support improved patient and staff outcomes.
  • Provide advice and guidance on nursing issues
