With a strong pipeline of projects and continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to join their dynamic and collaborative pre-construction team.ABOUT THE ROLEThe RoleAs Pre-Construction Manager, you will take the lead in managing all pre-construction activities from initial enquiry through to handover to the delivery team. You will work closely with clients, consultants, estimators, and planners to ensure projects are fully scoped, planned, and costed to meet both client expectations and company objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate pre-construction activities on a range of projectsManage bid processes including tender submissions, presentations, and value engineering proposalsWork closely with the estimating and planning teams to develop competitive and compliant tender packagesLiaise with design consultants and internal teams to review and develop technical proposalsAttend client meetings, representing the company professionally and confidentlyIdentify and mitigate project risks early in the pre-construction phaseContribute to improving pre-construction processes and best practicesREQUIREMENTSProven experience in a pre-construction role within a main contractor environmentStrong knowledge of UK construction methods, regulations, and procurement routesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyA background in construction management, estimating, planning, or design management is highly beneficialDegree qualified in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline (preferred)REWARDS AND BENEFITSCompetitive salary of £70,000 - £80,000 (depending on experience) * Career progression within a growing and well-respected contractorSupportive team environment
