Job DescriptionThe role has the pivotal responsibility of liaising between the sales team and operations/dispatch, ensuring all shipments are processed fully to comply to all international import & export customs requirements.Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Sales order processing, progressing and prioritising - working with lead-times and shortages
  • Courier management - quotes/calculations, logistics organisation booking shipments, customs – dispatch & collection paperwork for imports/exports
  • Verifying international commodity codes for customs duties
  • Interacting with multiple carriers as well as different internal teams
  • Excellent customer service, call handling (as often the first point of contact)
  • Returns process/service return paperwork
  • General admin tasks
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
Experience and Requirements:
  • Proven previous experience within an office based administration role and high level of attention to detail is essential
  • Knowledge of importing & exporting globally, international shipping requirements, commodity codes are highly desirable
  • Keen eye for detail.
