About the roleIf you are a proactive and experienced administrator looking for an exciting and interesting opportunity to make a difference, this is the role for you.Under the guidance of the Placement Systems Compliance Manager and as a member of the team, you will be responsible for the delivery and continuous development of a customer focused, cost effective and efficient administrative support service.Flexible, adaptable and resilient in a fast paced, changing environment, you will be required to support users and maintain the ARC placement management system as well as co-ordinate, lead and manage a team responsible for placement administration of professional programmes.This is a demanding, yet rewarding role. You will work closely with Senior Academic staff and colleagues within Professional Services and will need to be able to use excellent influencing and communication skills to oversee the placement administration of the programmes. The role will also require significant interaction with students and external stakeholders regarding placements and supporting their use of the ARC placement management system. You will handle complex queries and send out mass communications to stakeholders and system users.You will work primarily on the Plymouth city centre campus. Whilst most of your time will be spent on campus, you may be able to work from home in a way that is balanced with the needs of the role, usually for part of your working week.
