You will also be involved in all aspects of food hygiene controls to ensure that production is safe, consistent and compliant. The role will provide administrative support with quality management system (QMS), management of customer complaints, including collation of statistical data, customer queries and assistance with trending and communicating technical KPIsThis position is 40 hours per week with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.00pm, with some flexibility to the needs of the business.The Role
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure quality standards are adhered to. Eg GMP, Hygiene
  • Support the management and resolution of statutory and customer complaints through the analysis and documentation of issues and corrective actions taken to prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct and manage traceability challenges for audit and Health Export Certification
  • Manage customer Certificate of Conformance requests and supplier Certificates of Analysis
  • Monitor and report on quality performance metrics (KPIs) to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Accurate and timely maintenance of Quality Management System
  • Ensure that Quality & Technical documentation, filing and storage is completed in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, maintain and review Quality & Technical documentation, such as SOPs, work instructions, and quality records, to support the QMS.
  • Support training employees on Quality & Technical procedures and policies to ensure a consistent understanding and compliance across all departments
  • Facilitate the calibration and maintenance of inspection, measuring, and testing of all equipment to ensure ongoing accuracy and reliability.
  • Ordering and managing stocks of consumables
The Person:Essential:
  • Minimum of Grade C or above in GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths
  • Minimum of 12 months experience within a busy administrative or retail role
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office particularly Excel
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proven experience to work under pressure while managing and prioritising high volume workload effectively
  • Proven experience in working on tasks that require a high level of attention to detail.
  • Able to display initiative and apply problem solving skills
Desirable:
  • Previous experience in a Technical or FMCG environment
  • Previous Audit experience
  • Awareness of HACCP, ISO 14001or QSHAS 18001
