This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, help students develop critical thinking skills, and support them in exploring historical events and their modern-day relevance.As a History Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that meet the national curriculum.
- Inspire students to think critically and engage in historical analysis and debate.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every learner feels valued.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
- Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular clubs or history projects.
- Uphold high standards of behaviour management and safeguarding.
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for History.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
