
Fire & Security Service Engineer

- Drive excellent customer service by working with the area supervisor and national Call Centre utilizing our dedicated PDA management software. You will be expected to provide a professional and positive “can-do” approach to service calls and maintenance visits. Once established, the successful candidate will also have significant additional earning potential through our callout Rota.
- Attend and resolve daily service calls plus maintenance visits where required
- You will be accountable for your vehicle and its stock once issued. It is your responsibility to ensure they are adequately maintained with any issues being escalated once identified
- Flexible working hours will be periodically required to meet client demand
- Ideally located approximately 30 minutes travel into your working area
- Clean driving license
- Fire - Gent, Kentec, Advanced, notifier, addressable & conventional
- Intruder systems: Texecom, Galaxy, Pacom & GE ranges
- Access Control systems (PC based and standalone): Lenel, CEM, C-Cure, PAC & Paxton
- CCTV systems across analogue and IP platforms.
- Milestone, Dahua, Genetec, CEM
- Strong IP networking skills
- Basic electrical principles
- Strong knowledge of the Security Systems industry and it's standards
- Proven field service technical experience
- Proactive response to all situations; lone working and problem-solving ability.
- Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service
- At least 3 years' experience within the security industry
- Ability to identify & refer potential sales leads (paid commission available)
- Good communications skills
- Good time management and planning skills
