Teaching Assistant – Primary School – CanterburyAre you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Canterbury, seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a nurturing environment and is committed to helping young learners thrive. The role will primarily involve supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2, working closely with class teachers to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences.Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting pupils in small groups and on a one-to-one basis
  • Assisting with classroom activities and lesson preparation
  • Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion
  • Providing feedback to teachers and contributing to pupil progress tracking
  • Supporting children with additional needs where required
Desirable Experience & Skills:
  • Previous experience working in a primary school setting
  • A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A caring and patient approach
  • A genuine enthusiasm for working with children
