  • Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 depending on experience
  • Pay dependent on experience
  • Temporary 12-month position, with potential for permanent appointment
  • Located in Wigan, accessible from Leigh, Bolton and Salford
  • No experience needed and an opportunity to complete a Level 2 Teaching Assistant course.
This Primary Teaching Assistant role offers the chance to make a positive impact on pupils’ learning, providing tailored support to ensure every child achieves their full potential.The role:
  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to raise attainment in core subjects (Reading, Writing and Maths)
  • Helping to manage behaviour positively to ensure pupils remain engaged in learning
  • Delivering targeted interventions for pupils who may be falling behind
  • Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO to track pupil progress and contribute to learning plans

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
