- Four main hospitals: Bronglais Hospital in Aberystwyth; Glangwili Hospital in Carmarthen; Prince Philip Hospital in Llanelli; and Withybush Hospital in Haverfordwest
- Five community hospitals: Amman Valley and Llandovery hospitals in Carmarthenshire; Tregaron Hospital in Ceredigion; and Tenby and South Pembrokeshire hospitals in Pembrokeshire
- Two integrated care centres: Aberaeron and Cardigan in Ceredigion, and several other community settings
- 47 general practices (six of which are health board managed practices); dental practices (including four orthodontic); 97 community pharmacies; 43 general ophthalmic practices; and 8 ophthalmic domiciliary providers
- Numerous mental health and learning disabilities services
- Masters or equivalent knowledge in Public Health/Health Promotion or allied discipline
- Evidence of continuing professional/personal development
- Practical knowledge of public health practice, health promotion models and community development
- An understanding of NHS/Local government policy agenda and Public Health environment
- Knowledge of systems thinking and system working methodologies
- Registered, or working towards registration, with the UK Public Health Register (Practitioner Registration)
- Experience of public health/health promotion
- Experience of working with communities
- Experience of working across a number of organisations/sectors and/or with a number of programmes, including development, managing and evaluation of significant elements of work
- Experience of undertaking policy development/review and implementation
- Information management and an understanding of health related data and its interpretation
- Research methods
- Resilience
- Ability to positively influence the actions of others
- Ability to travel between sites in a timely manner to meet the needs of the service
- Welsh Speaker (Level 1) or willingness to work towards
