Job Title – Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker
Location – Grantham
Salary – £32,600 to £36,000 per annum (based on 8 sleep-ins per month)
Contract – Full Time, Permanent (typical pattern: 2 days on, 4 days off, includes sleep-ins)About the RoleA well-established residential care provider is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join a children’s home in Grantham. This role is ideal for someone who is ready to step up, lead by example, and help shape high-quality, therapeutic care for children and young people with complex needs.The home operates 365 days a year, with consistent rota planning and a focus on delivering trauma-informed care in a safe, nurturing environment.Responsibilities
  • Support and guide a team of residential support workers
  • Deliver high-quality, individualised care for young people
  • Provide leadership during shifts and support the management team
  • Act as a keyworker and lead on care planning and daily routines
  • Engage in activities such as cinema, sports, and outdoor trips
  • Promote a culture of safeguarding, inclusion, and respect
  • Maintain detailed records in line with regulations and care standards
Requirements
  • Level 3 or 4 qualification in Residential Childcare
  • Experience working in a children’s residential care setting
  • Aged 21 or over (in line with industry regulations)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Confident, reliable, and passionate about improving children’s lives
