- Review client progress through reflective practice, observation and consultation with all relevant parties.
- Maintain and update electronic and hard copy client records.
- Provide a robust evidence trail of all activities and work undertaken.
- Liaise with professionals within and external to Fife Council to assist individuals address challenges, barriers and progress toward their employment goals.
- Assist the team in promoting the service to partner agencies, including public, private and third sector organisations and contribute to networking meetings and events with partner agencies.
- Develop and maintain a network of employers from existing and new sources, liaise regularly with employers through direct contact, help employers create and use existing opportunities for placements and paid jobs on an individual's behalf.
- Provide caseload and work reports on targets and outcomes achieved.
- Extensive employability experience supporting people with disabilities, health conditions and mental health issues to prepare for, find and stay in work.
- Experience in establishing professional working relationships with clients and employers.
- The skills to set up safe and appropriate work placements/paid jobs in collaboration with employers and clients.
- Knowledge of welfare benefits.
- Knowledge of work programmes in Fife and how to work in partnership with other employability providers.
- Good computer competency skills, ability to update and input to electronic systems, ability to use digital platforms for engagement with clients, customers, partner and team meetings
- The ability to travel extensively throughout Fife and work in a variety of locations.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
- Caseload management experience and ability to apply effective time management and organisational skills to manage workload
- A relevant SVQ/HNC Qualification in Supported Employment, IOSH accreditation, Career guidance or equivalent relevant experience.
- Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain a Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland, cost will be met by applicant.
