- Appropriately registered with the Professional body as per post requirements
- Evidence of good standard of literacy and English language skills
- Evidence of continuing professional development and to have undertaken post registration training, coaching and / or mentorship training
- Knowledge and experience of current national policies affecting the NHS
- Knowledge of audit and research skills
- Understanding of clinical governance
- Knowledge of physical and mental health needs or know where to access appropriate advice
- Substantial experience in the required setting
- Ability to undertake the higher-level clinical skills required for the specialist area
- Demonstration experience in the required setting
- Demonstrate clinical and managerial leadership ability
- Experience of working in multi-agency services
- Experience of specialist working in District Nursing
- Ability to manage own time and time of others
- Ability to take instructions and work as part of a team, motivate self and others
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the service
- Acts in a way that supports equality and diversity
- Must be a car driver with a valid driving licence or have access to transport with appropriate business insurance to travel throughout the Trust as appropriate for role.
