We have Community Staff Nurse position available within the District Nursing North Sedgemoor team in Sedgemoor Neighbourhood covering Highbridge, Burnham, Cheddar, Axbridge and all the villages in between. Should you be successful the team cross-cover the whole area.The shift patterns are 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm 10am-6pm or 2pm-10pm. You will also work one in four weekends which include additional unsocial hours enhanced payments. We offer flexible working solutions where possible to ensure a work-life balance and part-time hours will be considered.You'll need to be a car driver with your own vehicle to visit patients in their own homes. We also welcome applications from newly qualified nurses, where we can offer you preceptorship to support and guide you in your new role.Main duties of the jobAs a community nurse, you'll provide care to patients in their homes, managing a range of complex health issues and collaborating with various other disciplines.You'll also work closely with the multidisciplinary team, focused on preventing acute admission and facilitating early discharges.   • Knowledge and experience of current national policies affecting the NHS
