This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and suitably experienced individual to work as a Health Care Assistant within the services in Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SPFT).Our wards are looking for a compassionate and person- centred experienced Healthcare support worker with an ability to work in a flexible manner to meet the demands and needs of the services.The successful applicant would be expected to work as part of the team undertaking the assessment, care and treatment of patients experiencing an acute mental health crisis, working in a recovery-orientated manner towards the ultimate discharge of the patient.Main duties of the jobWhat YOU offer SPFT:
  • Work with the multi-disciplinary team to establish and deliver a therapeutic programme of care for our patients.
  • Undertake care duties for patients on the ward.
  • Report patients condition to qualified staff.
  • Document care delivery in patients notes.
  • Implement individual patient care plans.
  • Participate in meetings, training and other work related forums.
