Walker Medical Group is looking for a Practice Nurse to join our friendly and experienced teamWe have around 11,000 patients and are dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of our diverse patient community.We are looking for a motivated team player who can demonstrate a high standard of clinical excellence and knowledge to provide a safe, effective and easily accessible range of health services.Main duties of the jobThe Practice Nurse will support the delivery of high-quality nursing care and contribute to the smooth operation of clinical services. Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing compassionate, courteous, and respectful care
Chronic disease management reviews * Immunisations (child and adult)
  • Cervical cytology
  • Contraceptive services
  • Health promotion
  • Managing personal workload and resources effectively

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration with no restrictions.
  • Degree in Adult Nursing.

  • Post graduate diploma or degree.

  • Family planning qualification.
