Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust (SCFT) are seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivated individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to join the Paediatric Physiotherapy team based in the in the Chichester Child Development Centre for part time - 15 hours per week.The post holder would manage a caseloadof Paediatric patients presenting with a range of Musculoskeletal, Orthopaedic, Neurological and Neurodevelopmental conditions. It is anticipated that the primary focus of this part time role will be Paediatric musculoskeletal and Orthopaedic conditions.The post holder should ideally have experience in the assessment and treatment of children and young people with a range of neurodevelopmental, orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions.We offer regular in-service training, peer supervision and clinical support. There are dedicated paediatric special interest groups and thePaediatric Physiotherapy service is supported by a Countywide Professional Lead.Main duties of the jobThe Paediatric Physiotherapy service aim to provide expert assessment, treatment and advice to children and young people between 0 and 19 years of age. We work to educate and support families, carers and other healthcare professionals including school and early years settings staff. Support will also be given, when necessary, to enable the seamless transition of young people into adult services.You will be an effective team player who is flexible, enthusiastic and focused on the delivery of excellent quality patient care to the young people in the locality and its surrounding area. Motivation to assist and support service development is essential. Excellent time management skills are required in order to manage this busy and fast-paced caseload.
