Hours: 8:30am - 5pm Monday - FridayRecruitAbility are seeking a highly skilled and process-driven Operations Manager to oversee our client's end-to-end manufacturing operations. This pivotal role ensures that products are produced efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards, while driving improvements across production, technical, and quality functions.The ideal candidate will have an engineering background, proven people management experience, and a passion for optimising processes to achieve operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead production planning, scheduling, and resource management to ensure timely and cost-effective output.
- Oversee technical activities including product documentation, engineering changes, and new product introduction.
- Drive process optimisation, performance monitoring, and capacity management to maximise efficiency.
- Implement and enforce quality control standards, working with suppliers to ensure materials meet requirements.
- Manage, train, and support staff while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Prepare reports and collaborate across teams to align operations with business and customer needs.
- Strong engineering or technical background.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Highly process-driven with a track record of delivering improvements in manufacturing or operations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- You must be able to drive and have your own car due to the location of the office
- Salary: £55,000
- Hours: 8:30am - 5pm Monday - Friday
- Holidays: 25 days plus Bank Holidays
