Contract Type: Full-TimeAn ambitious and inclusive secondary school in High Wycombe is seeking an inspirational Maths Teacher to join their well-established department. You will be part of a dynamic team that fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and confidence in mathematical skills for students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5.About the Role:
  • Teach stimulating and challenging Mathematics lessons across a broad range of topics, including algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons to effectively meet the diverse needs of all learners
  • Inspire a passion for mathematics while nurturing students’ analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Monitor student progress and provide targeted support to guide their academic development
  • Play an active role in departmental planning and contribute to whole-school initiatives
The ideal candidate will:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field
  • In-depth knowledge of the mathematics curriculum and strong classroom management skills
  • Dedicated to supporting all students in reaching their full academic potential
