- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons that actively engage students and provide appropriate challenges to promote deeper understanding.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners, ensuring all students can access the curriculum and make progress.
- Provide targeted support and guidance to GCSE students, helping them build confidence and skills through focused exam preparation.
- Assess student work thoroughly, offering constructive and timely feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Create and sustain a positive, disciplined, and motivating classroom atmosphere that encourages students to focus and thrive.
- Participate actively in departmental planning, contributing to the development and enhancement of teaching resources.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the school and engage fully in the wider school community and extracurricular activities.
- A genuine passion for Mathematics and a strong commitment to supporting young learners in achieving their full potential.
- Excellent classroom management abilities coupled with effective lesson planning skills to deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.
- A solid and up-to-date knowledge of the UK Mathematics curriculum, ensuring teaching is relevant and aligned with national standards.
- A reflective practitioner with a collaborative, team-focused mindset, eager to contribute to continuous improvement and share best practices.
- Hold QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent teaching qualification, along with legal eligibility to work in the UK.
