We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Leeds for a one-year contract starting in September 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of learning and scientific curiosity in students of all abilities.Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
  • Create a positive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Contribute to departmental planning and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge in science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
