SEN Teaching Assistant

- Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
- Assist the class teacher in implementing individual education plans for students with SEN
- Support students with their learning and help them to engage with the curriculum
- Monitor and record student progress and behaviour
- Collaborate with other staff members and parents to ensure the best possible support for students
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
- Experience working with children or individuals with SEN
- Understanding of different learning styles and techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to different situations and student needs
- Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
- Organisational skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Training in specific areas related to SEN
