  • Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
  • Assist the class teacher in implementing individual education plans for students with SEN
  • Support students with their learning and help them to engage with the curriculum
  • Monitor and record student progress and behaviour
  • Collaborate with other staff members and parents to ensure the best possible support for students
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or individuals with SEN
  • Understanding of different learning styles and techniques
Education:Relevant qualifications in Education or Special Educational Needs (SEN)Experience:Prior experience working in a school or educational settingKnowledge and Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different situations and student needs
  • Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
  • Organisational skills and ability to work as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Training in specific areas related to SEN
Working Conditions:The role involves working within a school environment, following the school term calendar.
