Overview:An opportunity has arisen to join our Loading Bay team at Dunbia Llanybydder.This is an exciting chance to join a well-established team in a fast paced and dynamic environment.No prior experience is required, and on-site training will be providedResponsibilities:Basic Function:Responsible for carrying out operations within the Carcass Loading Bay, loading and unloading of carcasses to trailers and star hooks and moving carcasses to fridges. Scanning carcass tags and grouping carcasses by codes.Key Responsibilities: -
  • Manual handling of lamb carcasses
  • Scanning of lamb and beef carcasses
  • Semi-automated loading of beef carcasses
  • Trimming of beef and lamb carcasses
  • Quartering of beef carcasses
  • Housekeeping within the department
  • Ensuring that Quality, Health & Safety and other Company policies are adhered to and liaising with relevant departments to ensure issues are resolved
  • Maintaining good employee relations and promoting equality of opportunity
