
Plant Supervisor

- To manage all waste movements on site from receipt to treatment and/or transfer from site in accordance with company procedures (SAP) and legislation to ensure all revenue is captured.
- Ensure the plant(s) are operated in line with site permits and consents, including monitoring emissions (where applicable) to avoid breaches.
- Report any such breaches to the regulator in accordance with permit requirements and to management in accordance with company procedures.
- Maximise throughputs on all processing plants by ensuring waste is mixed/blended as required.
- Act as go between to site manager in the absence of the plant manager.
- Carry out all required operational checks and/or maintenance on site and equipment in accordance with PPM schedule.
- Carry out repairs on equipment where trained.
- Use initiative to solve problems as they occur or notify line manager where this is not possible.
- Ensure all bins (770ltr) are washed and maintained after each use.
- Deploy resources to ensure swift turnaround of company vehicles.
- Working as part of the site team you will be excepted to carry out duties to assist other parts of the operation.
- Ensure that site housekeeping is of the highest standards.
- Report waste on site numbers at the end of each shift in accordance with site requirements.
- Liaise with emergency services, point of call during silent hours.
