
National Sales Leader

- Lead and motivate a National sales team to grow 10mm (tiling) and 20mm (paving), alongside ancillary products.
- Look for new Product opportunities that we can bring to market before others and be ahead of the game (to support the above).
- Develop sales and relationships nationally, and also own area and grow/ support key accounts.
- Setting area strategy with ASM for their areas.
- Identifying new business opportunities.
- Promote the company’s service, product range and image.
- Maintain awareness of competitor activity.
- Establish and build healthy relationships with customers, suppliers, hauliers, and colleagues.
- Responsible for managing the budget Nationally, in line with approved targets.
- Measured on NetSales and C1 profit.
- Managing key relationships with stake holders / managers and their sales teams, to promote and maximise additional revenue opportunities.
- Support procurement team so we have the best portfolio in the market and good stock levels.
- Responsibility for compliance and discharging legal duties with regards to HR and Health & Safety to promote a safe, equitable and legally compliant work place in relation to the management of the team.
- Must have a full UK Driving License (Essential).
- Must be happy to work on the road as well as occasional overnight stays (Essential).
- External Sales / Field Sales Experience (Essential).
- Experience managing Sales Teams (Desirable).
- Broad product range knowledge – 10mm tiling (Essential) and 20mm Paving (Desirable).
