Staff well-being is a priority in the Bolton Community Mental Health Services with access to a staff self-soothe room, bright, open-plan offices and pleasant break facilities for staff.Main duties of the jobBolton Community Mental Health Services are a committed integrated service that strives to provide quality recovery based support to people with severe and enduring mental health related difficulties in Bolton 7 days per week, 365 days per year.The service calls upon a wide range of evidence based holistic assessments and interventions.As a Community Psychiatric Nurse working in the service you will be required to undertake the role of Care Coordinator in line with CPA process, you will have a defined complex caseload which could consist of people who are on the Assertive Outreach pathway, and will be expected to work proactively and flexibly within a multi-disciplinary team model.There is a requirement to provide clinical leadership and to assist in the organising, supporting, supervision and development of junior staff members.You will also be expected to act as assessor/mentor for student nurses.The post holder will play a key role in the further development of the service and in the implementation of its Clinical and Social Care Governance agenda.About usGreater Manchester Mental Health (GMMH) Foundation Trust employs over 6,400 members of staff, who deliver services from more than 160 locations.We provide inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bolton, the city of Manchester, Salford, Trafford and the borough of Wigan, and a wide range of specialist mental health and substance misuse services across Greater Manchester, the north west of England and beyond.Greater Manchester is one of the world's most innovative, original and exciting places to live and work.
