Inspect and service building elements (doors, windows, walls, floors, ceilings), fire doors, and fixtures per HTM 05-02.Reactive Repairs:
Fix faults and damage to walls, ceilings, floors, and fittings. Replace or adjust locks, door closers, and access controls.Minor Works & Installations:
Build shelves, cupboards, and similar items. Install locks, key safes, dispensers, and brackets in clinical/non-clinical areas.Fire Safety Compliance:
Maintain fire compartmentation and protection systems. Inspect and repair seals, fire-rated materials, and barriers.Health & Safety:
Follow safety procedures, use PPE, handle tools safely, and work within COSHH and Working at Height regulations.Records & Teamwork:
Log work on CAFM systems, complete records, support team tasks, and attend training to stay compliant.What You Bring:Essential:Reliable, professional, and self-motivated.Confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving skills.Able to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.Good understanding of Health and Safety.Strong communication, report writing, and computer skills.Willing to work overtime and attend training as needed.Desirable:Relevant apprenticeship or NVQ Level 2/3.Health & Safety certifications (e.g., IOSH, Asbestos Awareness).Access equipment qualifications (PASMA, IPAF).Fire door and passive fire protection knowledge.Experience in maintenance, healthcare, or live environmentWhat we offer:Working at Sodexo isn't just a job - it's a chance to make a difference every day.
