CRA Consulting are delighted to be recruiting for a highly regarded, long-established law firm with modern offices in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Wills & Probate Fee Earner / Solicitor to join their busy and growing Private Client team.
The successful candidate will take on a varied caseload of private client work and will be trusted to work with a high degree of initiative and independence. The role is preferably full-time (35 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm) but applications from those seeking part-time hours will also be welcomed. Hybrid working is available.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied caseload of Wills, variations, Lasting Powers of Attorney, trusts, and the administration of estates.
  • Deliver exceptional client care by keeping clients fully informed and ensuring matters progress efficiently.
  • Comply with all case management and regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest professional standards.
  • Support the Head of Department and contribute to the promotion and growth of the team.
  • Build upon the firm's strong reputation by attracting new clients and supporting marketing initiatives.
  • Develop relationships with local professionals and participate in networking opportunities.
  • Accurately utilise the firm's Case Management System and ensure diligent record-keeping.
  • Undertake relevant training and comply with CPD requirements.
About You
  • Experienced in wills and probate matters, with the ability to manage a busy and varied caseload independently.
  • Target-driven, highly organised, and able to prioritise effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong client care skills with a sensitive and professional approach.
  • A proactive team player with excellent attention to detail and a "can do" attitude.
