- Act as the trusted financial advisor to Distribution and Installation teams, providing comprehensive analysis, strategic insight, and constructive challenge to drive performance
- Take ownership of cost management and month-end processes for HDC, SDC, MCFC, and Installation operations, with additional oversight of Wincanton and Ascensos costs where required
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for these critical operational areas
- Work closely with operational stakeholders to enhance financial understanding, drive efficiency improvements, and boost profitability across the business
- Produce insightful management reporting that directly influences strategic decision-making at senior levels
- Deliver weekly flash reporting and performance reviews to ensure rapid response to operational variances
- Foster a cost-conscious, efficiency-focused culture through targeted analysis and profit-enhancement initiatives
- Manage and develop a Financial Analyst, providing mentorship and supporting their career progression
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification)
- Strong finance background with ideally some exposure to Retail or FMCG environments
- Solid understanding of distribution operations and associated financial complexities
- Confident communicator who can challenge and influence stakeholders at all levels effectively
- Natural relationship builder who works well with both finance and non-finance teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation abilities
- Proven track record of working under pressure while consistently hitting tight deadlines
- Experience implementing robust financial controls and governance frameworks
- Exceptional attention to detail with absolute commitment to accuracy
