The Neonatal Unit at Frimley Park is a Level 2 Neonatal Unit made up of 2 Intensive Care, 6 High Dependency and 8 Special Care cots. The unit cares of babies over 27 weeks gestation and stabilises any baby under that gestation, to be transferred to a tertiary hospital/NICU.Our team aspires to provide high quality and evidenced based clinical, developmental and family integrated care in order to ensure the best outcomes for our babies and their families.This is an exciting opportunity for an experience nurse who is passionate and enthusiastic about neonatal care to join our education team.Main duties of the jobThis exciting opportunity for a Neonatal Practice Development Nurse on the Neonatal Unit, will allow the applicant to facilitate learning and development of pre and post registration staff, developing student nurses, nursing associates, newly registered staff on preceptorship, and staff working through the QIS course.
