Whether it’s purchasing through Samsung.com or within our Premium Retail outlets within Selfridges and Harrods, we’re looking to make shopping with Samsung a joy – offering the full Samsung range and compelling financial propositions – backed up with the best possible Samsung Service.Role and ResponsibilitiesYour Key Responsibilities:Commercial owner of Smartphone product, working alongside our Smartphone Lead to deliver DTC sales growth through Samsung.com. This role will:Deliver commercial KPIs for Smartphone through Samsung.com:Own the sales plan for mid-tier and entry level Smartphone through Samsung.com, driving sales revenue, volume and share of business growth.Be responsible for delivering profitable sales, through effective management of investment and clear understanding of the Smartphone P&L.Deliver Incremental sales deduction return on investment and sales incrementality through promotions and sellout platforms.Drive improvement in secondary KPI’s such as: channel sales, traffic, conversion, average order value, forecasting, availability and aged stock.Deliver a compelling category proposition for Smartphone through Samsung.com:Ownership of the price and promotional plan for mid-tier and entry level Smartphone products through Samsung.com.Responsibility for management and development of sellout platforms (e.g. Trade In) and their contribution to sales of Smartphone products.Effective management of Go To Market for new mid-tier and entry level Smartphone products through Samsung.com.Manage and collaborate with partners within MX Division to deliver wider Samsung business objectives in line with our own targets.Lead the wider eCommerce team in execution of this plan through Samsung.com and Performance Marketing channels.Own the quarterly planning process for mid-tier and entry level Smartphone products through Samsung.com, aligned with the MX Division.Be responsible for identifying commercial priorities within the category, and effectively briefing executional teams to deliver them.Brief and deliver the plan through partners in Merchandising, UX and Performance Marketing, holding them accountable to targets.Regularly report against performance targets, and implement tactical course correction where necessary to meet sales objectives.Ensure efficient operational management of the Smartphone business, through accurate forecasting and reporting of sales plans to the business / HQ.Efficient and effective ways of working across multiple teams, focused on one touch and clear alignment.Implement trading governance, ensuring clear and precise actions are delivered through multiple cross functional partners.Effective crisis management, leading the wider team in problem-solving as and when issues arise that pose a customer or sales risk.Working with Finance and Operations to ensure short, medium and long term forecast and sales planning is delivered accurately in a timely fashion.Skills and QualificationsWhat we need for this roleTo be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:Experience in an eCommerce Trading / Commercial role in a multichannel or pureplay retailer.Commerciality (strong understanding and delivery of key financial numbers).Strong planning, briefing and organisational skills.
