In this highly visible role, you’ll take full ownership of spend categories that directly support local and European top management decisions and deliver on the bottom line.You’ll be part of a well-established and mature team in a genuine centre of excellence, decorated with awards, growing and fast becoming global in our horizons. Our teams use modern tools & analytics, service & delivery in-country, category management across countries and for both engineering and professional services - and the right person has the opportunity to develop into or across all areas.You will:Establish and maintain positive relationships with senior stakeholders to understand & define business requirements.Lead the implementation of EU sourcing strategies in your category areas.Identify, lead and collaborate with our in-country teams for local sourcing projects.Manage suppliers by supervising performance, SLA’s and continuous improvement activities.Own contract information, critical metric indicator data and approvals for your categories.Develop your long-range category strategy.Negotiate and lead the commercial elements of category contracts.Support central initiatives, such as our sustainability goals, for improving the efficiency of CPE platform and overall procurement activities in Europe.Develop and maintain a relationship with other category teams and Sony sister companies, where applicable, in order to find opportunities for joined procurement activitiesYou will bring:Corporate procurement within a blue-chip company, leading indirect procurement categoriesExperienced in developing, supporting and implementing procurement strategies and leading project teams at a European/multi country levelA successful negotiator with excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills, equally focused on value for money, service quality and positive strategic outcomesHighly influential and credible at the highest levelsNumerate and logical – able to make and rationalise data-driven decisionsStrong customer service sense and attitude with a commercial and entrepreneurial driven mentalityYour new officeBased at the Weybridge office, you will enjoy a vibrant and friendly working environment.
