⏰ Start Date: ASAP / September 2025A welcoming primary school in Banstead is looking for a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to provide long-term cover. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher, or a confident ECT, who’s keen to guide pupils through their final year of primary school and prepare them for the transition to secondary.You’ll be leading a motivated Year 6 class, delivering inspiring lessons across the curriculum, supporting SATs preparation, and working closely with colleagues to ensure pupils achieve their very best.⭐ What We’re Looking For
  • A qualified teacher with UK QTS (or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching at Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
  • Strong classroom management and the ability to motivate pupils
  • Confidence in preparing pupils for SATs and secondary transition
  • A teacher who can adapt quickly, follow planning, and contribute to the wider school community
  • Enthusiasm, reliability, and a genuine passion for teaching
Key Responsibilities
  • Full responsibility for a Year 6 class
  • Delivering engaging lessons that stretch and inspire pupils
  • Preparing pupils for SATs and supporting them to achieve excellent outcomes
  • Managing behaviour effectively and in line with school policies
  • Working collaboratively with the year group team and SLT
  • Taking part in planning meetings, assessments, and whole-school activities
