Job Description:OverviewLondon Borough of Harrow is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to provide a high quality and effective social work service, which responds to the needs of people with lived experiences with care and support needs, their informal carers and their families in a timely manner and within statutory guidelines. All assessments and support plans will be completed in accordance with the wellbeing principles of the Care Act 2014 and reflects a strengths-based approach.We have exciting opportunities for permanent social workers who are passionate about empowering citizens to reach their full potential.Are you looking for a new challenge?   • Have a Social Work Qualification i.e. CQSW, DipSW or equivalent
  • Be registered with the HCPC as a Social Worker
  • Able to pass a clear enhanced DBS check
  • Working knowledge of all statutory duties and responsibilities relating to children and families, including:
  • Legislation
  • Regulations and Standards
  • Government Objectives and Initiatives
  • National and Common Assessment Framework
