Therefore,you will work across both analogue and digital circuit design, embedded firmware, and applications that leverage the latest wireless technologies.Importantly, this is a hands-on role where you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of key design projects. Additionally, you’ll occasionally liaise directly with customers and manufacturing partners, gaining valuable experience beyond the design desk.Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting the development digital and analogue circuits, embedded processors, and signal processing algorithms.
  • Writing
in C. * Working with embedded Linux on ARM platforms.
  • Applying Bluetooth and other wireless technologies
  • Supporting EMC, ESD, and Radio Equipment Directive compliance in product design.
  • Contributing to technical specifications, design documentation, and team collaboration.
  • Participating in occasional site visits and supporting customer interaction.
What you’ll bring to this Electronics Engineer jobThis role suits someone with strong hands-on electronics skills, creativity in solving complex problems, and a passion for working in an agile, technically focused team. Ideally, you’ll have at least a year of commercial experience—either in your first role since completing your education or through a placement year during your degree. This practical foundation will help you thrive in a varied and fast-paced design environment.You should have:
  • HND, HNC, or degree-level qualification in Electronics (or similar).
  • Ability to work with
, embedded firmware, and wireless tech. * Familiarity with Engineering design tools.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Additional desirable skills include:
  • Understanding of PCB layout
  • Experience testing and assembling surface-mount
