As a Primary TA, this is a rewarding opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers and contribute to the academic and personal development of young learners.Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant:
  • Provide tailored support to pupils within the classroom and during small-group or 1:1 activities.
  • Assist teachers in preparing resources and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and educational needs.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
  • Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant:
  • Previous experience working with children, ideally within a school setting.
  • A caring, empathetic, and resilient approach.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps clearly explained.
