This is a key role supporting the Warehouse Manager in ensuring all operations within the designated area run smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining high standards of performance and achieving strong OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery for customers.The Warehouse Team Leader will be responsible for:
  • Oversee Warehouse operations and track team performance against key metrics
  • Lead daily briefings to align the team on priorities and targets
  • Manage shift schedules and flag any issues or delays to relevant teams
  • Work cross-functionally to adapt to changes in customer demand
  • Support staff development through training and upskilling initiatives
  • Promote a strong health & safety culture and ensure compliance
  • Establish and maintain clear operating procedures
  • Drive improvements through continuous development activities
  • Handle basic HR responsibilities for the team including attendance, RTW, and disciplinary processes
  • Ensure smooth and accurate shift handovers
  • Coordinate outbound loading in line with planned routes
  • Assist with warehouse picking tasks when needed
Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience in a Warehouse Team Leader, Supervisor, or Logistics role is ideal, though we welcome motivated individuals ready to step up into leadership
  • Hands-on approach with a willingness to support warehouse tasks, including manual handling and occasional FLT work
  • Confident using IT systems to manage operations and performance metrics
