We are pleased to release this exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical Secretary to take on a position ideal for someone to join us from either a Practice base or direct from a hospital to join our Practice and complement our existing secretarial operation. We are a hardworking, rapidly moving, pro-active, high achieving Practice with two sites on the A64 York Road.We are looking for a candidate to work 25 to 30 hours a week, Monday to Friday afternoons who possess a good grasp of computer skills as well as sound experience of secretarial work, typing and routine office administration. The ability to work under you own initiative, as well as being part of a team is essential as this is pressured environment. We are looking for the candidate who can demonstrate that they are reliable, competent and have the ability to work in an office efficiently whilst demonstrating absolute patient confidentiality.You will be able to work with a secretarial manager, demonstrating forward thinking and initiative, secretarial skills and decision-making choices when dealing with patients. Your role is integral to contributing to the safe and smooth running of the Practice.Knowledge of SystmOne clinical system would be an advantage but not essential as would a broad understanding of the referral system too.
