The ideal candidate for the role of Teaching and Learning Assistant must be able to communicate effectively with young people, be confident, committed, and calm. A desire to work with young people and be part of a team is essential.This Teaching and Learning Assistant role in Slough may include, but not be limited to the following responsibilities:
- Supporting children's behaviour for learning in the classroom.
- Helping children with their understanding of the teacher's instructions.
- Working with individual learners in the classroom 1:1, or working with individuals or small groups in the Learning Support department.
