Do you have a background or academic interest in English, PSHE, or Humanities?Prospero Teaching is recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a well-respected SEN school in West Drayton from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain long-term experience in a specialist setting, with potential to go permanent.About the Role:
Supporting students with a range of special educational needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD)
Assisting in the planning and delivery of lessons, particularly in English, PSHE, and Humanities
Delivering 1:1 and small group support to help students reach learning and personal goals
Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to meet individual needs
Contributing to team meetings and helping shape strategies for student progress
Candidate:
Experience working in an SEN or mainstream school setting
Confident supporting students with additional needs in a calm, empathetic, and adaptable way
A genuine interest or academic background in English (Literature or Language)
Strong communication skills and a team-player mentality
Eager to make a positive impact in a nurturing learning environment
